About Thai Chef 1

In the heart of Green River, WY, hiding in plain sight among the everyday hustle and bustle of Uinta Drive, is a hidden gem known as Thai Chef 1. The inviting aroma drawing both locals and travelers in is nothing short of mesmerizing. While one might initially overlook this spot tucked into 71 Uinta Dr, a culinary adventure awaits every visitor who takes the plunge into its flavorsome offerings.

Start with the spring rolls, crispy shells giving way to a fresh, vibrant filling that whispers of warmer climates and exotic spices. Following closely is the much-revered Tom Kha soup—a creamy, coconut milk-based concoction infused with a delicate balance of tang from the lemongrass and lime, crafted masterfully by the culinary talents behind the scenes.

One can’t help but be drawn to their rendition of Pad Thai. Slippery, luscious noodles mingling with peanuts, hints of lime, and just the right amount of heat create a medley of flavors that dance gracefully across the palate. Pair it with a glass of their house Thai iced tea, and suddenly, the flavors have an extra dimension of sweetness and creaminess, offering a refreshing contrast.

For those seeking something more than the quintessential, dive into the depths of their seafood offerings. The Thai-style seafood curry brims with rich, bold, yet smooth flavors that encapsulate the ocean’s essence, combined with the meticulous craftsmanship of Thai cuisine.

Feedback from the guests graces the walls of online reviews, each more glowing than the last. Folks rave about the ambiance—an essential, warm, welcoming aura enveloping the diners as they settle into their spots. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Scott P
Stopped in on a road trip thru Wyoming and I was very pleased! I came in around lunch time and I was the only person in the restaurant. I was greeted immediately and chose my own table. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The waitress was very friendly. My meal was delivered quickly and tasted great. I had Chicken Pad Thai, and the noodles were cooked to the correct softness, and the sauce had a good flavor. The portion size was perfect for the price! And excellent place to stop for Thai food if you're in town!

My favorite spot in town. Food is hot and fresh. Service is great. Clean and nice atmosphere. They have High chairs for kids. I ordered Tofu Pad Thai, Tofu Pad See-Ew, Dumplings and they are delicious! Especially their fried chili in oil! Very spicy and tasty! love love this restaurant. รัก

If you love Asian food, this is Highly recommended restaurant when you are in Green River. Food is cooked while you are waiting. It’s the Thai food that we’d been longing for since we’d been here in Sweetwater county, as opposed to that on Rock Springs, this is far way better. The chef is Thai to begin with, and that tells a lot. Staff is so friendly👌 The place is neat and clean❤️ Don’t be deceive by the outer appearance of the restaurant. You will walk out with guaranteed happy tummy🥰. Located beside Les Schwab Tire Center, Green River WY

Interesting place for Thai food, although a bit expensive and bland compared to what you would find in Thailand, but this is in the middle of Wyoming so it is fine.

We had a delicious meal here! We had the Crispy Avocado for an appetizer, then Drunken Noodles, Massaman Curry, and Orange Chicken. We were all totally happy with our choices and highly recommend this place!

The Pad Thai is just excellent! 10/10. I also love their curries and their crispy avocado appetizer.
